람림 개인정보처리방침
한 줄 요약
람림은 이름, 이메일, 전화번호, 위치, 사진, 소리 같은 개인정보를 모으지 않습니다. 가입·로그인이 없고, 광고와 분석 도구도 없습니다. 고른 설정은 이 기기 안에만 저장됩니다. 밖으로 보내는 것은 "지금 수행 중인 사람 수"를 세기 위한 이름 없는 신호 하나뿐이며, 1분여 뒤 지워집니다(아래 4번).
1. 기기 안에만 저장하는 것
다음에 열 때 같은 상태로 보여 드리려고 아래 설정을 휴대폰의 브라우저 저장소(localStorage)에 저장합니다. 이 값은 저희 서버나 다른 곳으로 보내지 않습니다.

절 횟수, 걸은 거리, 명상 시간은 수행하는 동안 화면에만 보이고 저장하지 않습니다. 앱 파일은 인터넷 없이도 열리도록 기기에 저장(캐시)합니다.
지우는 방법: 안드로이드는 휴대폰 설정 → 앱 → 람림 → 저장공간 → 데이터 삭제, 아이폰은 앱 삭제를 하면 모두 지워집니다. 웹은 브라우저의 사이트 데이터 삭제로 지워집니다.
2. 사용하지 않는 것
- 카메라, 마이크, 위치, 연락처, 사진첩을 쓰지 않습니다. 앱 서버 설정에서 카메라·마이크·위치 사용을 막아 두었습니다.
- 회원 가입, 로그인, 결제 정보가 없습니다.
- 광고, 광고 식별자, 분석·추적 도구, 쿠키를 쓰지 않습니다. 아래 4번의 임의 번호는 기기에 남지 않아 추적에 쓸 수 없습니다.
- 서버에서 보내는 푸시 알림은 없습니다. 아이폰 앱의 매일 수행 알림은 사용자가 켰을 때만 기기 안에서 예약되며, 저희 서버를 거치지 않습니다.
3. 앱이 쓰는 기기 기능
- 화면 켜짐 유지: 수행하는 동안 화면이 꺼지지 않게 합니다. 마치면 해제합니다.
- 작은 창(화면 속 화면): 수행 화면을 작은 창으로 띄울 때, 앱이 그린 3D 화면만 기기 안에서 작은 창으로 보냅니다. 카메라 영상이 아니며 밖으로 전송하지 않습니다.
- 소리: 목탁·싱잉볼·범종 소리는 기기 안에서 만들어 내고, 숲소리와 죽비는 앱에 들어 있는 녹음 파일을 틉니다. 사용자의 소리는 녹음하지 않습니다.
- 건강 앱 마음챙김 기록 (아이폰 앱만, 선택): 명상이나 걷기를 1분 이상 하고 마치면, 허락한 경우에만 그 시작·끝 시각을 Apple 건강 앱의 「마음챙김」에 한 건 씁니다. 쓰기만 하고 건강 앱의 어떤 정보도 읽지 않으며, 이 기록은 저희 서버로 보내지 않고 광고·마케팅에 쓰지 않습니다. 설정에서 끌 수 있고, 건강 앱에서 언제든 지우거나 권한을 거둘 수 있습니다.
- 진동 (아이폰 앱): 절 한 번을 셀 때 가볍게 진동합니다.
- 매일 수행 알림 (아이폰 앱만, 선택, 기본 꺼짐): 고른 시각에 기기 안에서 알림을 띄웁니다.
4. 밖으로 보내는 것: 지금 수행 중인 사람 수
화면에 "지금 몇 분이 수행하고 있어요" 같은 숫자를 보여 드리려고, 앱이 열려 있는 동안 아래 두 가지만 30초마다 저희 서버(lamrimapp.com/api/presence)로 보냅니다.

- 서버는 종류별 사람 수(합계)만 돌려주며, 개별 신호를 누구에게도 넘기거나 팔지 않습니다.
- 서버에 닿지 않으면 숫자만 숨기고, 다른 기능은 그대로 쓸 수 있습니다.
5. 인터넷 연결과 다른 회사
- 앱 화면 파일과 위 신호는 Cloudflare(lamrimapp.com)를 거쳐 오갑니다. 이 과정에서 Cloudflare가 접속 IP 주소 같은 기술 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. 언어를 고른 적이 없으면, Cloudflare가 IP로 판단한 나라(예: KR)로 기본 언어만 정하며 이 값은 저장하지 않습니다. 저희는 IP 주소를 따로 모으거나 보관하지 않습니다. 자세한 내용은 Cloudflare 개인정보처리방침을 참고하세요.
- Android 앱은 휴대폰의 Chrome(또는 기본 브라우저)으로 화면을 엽니다. Google Play와 Chrome이 처리하는 정보는 Google 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다.
- 아이폰 앱은 화면 파일을 앱 안에 담고 있으며, 위 4번의 신호만 lamrimapp.com으로 보냅니다. App Store와 iOS가 처리하는 정보는 Apple 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다.
6. 어린이
람림은 어린이를 대상으로 만든 앱이 아니며, 어린이를 포함해 누구의 개인정보도 모으지 않습니다.
7. 바뀔 때
앱이 바뀌어 정보 처리 방식이 달라지면 이 페이지를 먼저 고치고 시행일을 바꿉니다.

Lamrim Privacy Policy
In short
Lamrim does not collect personal information such as your name, email, phone number, location, photos or voice. There is no sign-up or login, no advertising and no analytics. Your settings stay on your device. The only thing sent out is an anonymous signal used to count "people practising now", and it is deleted after about a minute (section 4).
1. What is stored on your device only
To open the app the way you left it, the following settings are kept in your browser storage (localStorage) on your phone. They are never sent to us or anyone else.

Bow counts, walking distance and meditation time appear on screen during practice and are not saved. App files are cached on the device so the app can open offline.
To delete everything: on Android, Settings → Apps → Lamrim → Storage → Clear data; on iPhone, delete the app. On the web, clear the site data in your browser.
2. What we do not use
- No camera, microphone, location, contacts or photo library. The app's server settings block camera, microphone and location access.
- No accounts, logins or payment details.
- No ads, advertising IDs, analytics or tracking tools, and no cookies. The random code in section 4 is not kept on the device and cannot be used for tracking.
- No push notifications from our server. The iPhone app's daily practice reminder is scheduled on your device only, and only if you turn it on; it never passes through our server.
3. Device features the app uses
- Keep screen on: the screen stays on while you practise and is released when you finish.
- Small window (picture-in-picture): only the app's own 3D drawing is shown in a small window on your device. It is not camera video and is not sent anywhere.
- Sound: the moktak, singing bowl and bell are generated on your device; the forest ambience and jukbi are recordings included in the app. Your voice is never recorded.
- Apple Health mindful minutes (iPhone app only, optional): when you finish a meditation or walk of at least one minute, and only if you allow it, the app writes one Mindful Session with its start and end time to the Health app. It only writes and never reads any Health data. This record is not sent to us and is never used for advertising or marketing. You can turn it off in Settings, and delete it or revoke access in the Health app at any time.
- Haptics (iPhone app): a light tap with each bow counted.
- Daily practice reminder (iPhone app only, optional, off by default): a notification shown by your device at the time you choose.
4. What is sent: the number of people practising now
To show a line such as "12 people are practising now", the open app sends only these two things to our server (lamrimapp.com/api/presence) every 30 seconds.

- No name, account, location, advertising ID or device information is sent.
- The server keeps these values in memory only and never writes them to disk. They are deleted after 75 seconds without a signal, or when you close the app.
- The server returns only total counts per practice. Individual signals are never shared with or sold to anyone.
- If the server cannot be reached, only the count is hidden; everything else works as usual.
5. Internet connection and other companies
- The app's files and the signal above pass through Cloudflare (lamrimapp.com). In doing so, Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address. If you have not chosen a language yet, the country Cloudflare derives from the IP address (for example, KR) is used only to pick the default language and is not stored. We do not collect or keep IP addresses ourselves. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
- The Android app opens in Chrome (or your default browser) on your phone. Information handled by Google Play and Chrome is covered by Google's privacy policy.
- The iPhone app carries its screens inside the app and sends only the signal in section 4 to lamrimapp.com. Information handled by the App Store and iOS is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
6. Children
Lamrim is not designed for children, and it does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

If a future version handles information differently, we will update this page first and change the effective date.
